Planned to have breakfast together in the morning but he overslept . It was raining heavily . I went down to the bus stop to fetch him .

He alighted from the bus and just walked all the way without noticing me . Anyway , we brought a packet of vegetable rice and went home . Shared the rice with Brother and him .

So , we slacked . He used his computer to do some report while I tidy and clear my room . He was angry with my study table .

Brother's fried came as well . And it turns out that they both know each other .

He did finished his report and we went to SMU for him to print his Taiwan stuffs .

Waited for him . He brought some pasta with lemon tea , crispy chicken and my favourite Starbucks drink - just for me .

We went to some eating house and ordered cereal chicken , Hor Fun and some bean curd .

Yummy and nice !!!! $21.60 in total .

We took the bus home . Brought the student deal 7-11 Slurpee at $1.00 .

Called Mum and she suddenly mentioned that Uncle said that he become more handsome .

It's finally off day !

Brother and I left home at around 2.30pm plus .

He drop me at the medical library while he went for his graduation measurement .

I borrowed my books within 10 minutes while I waited for him . Paid my library fine of $10.00 .

He finally reached , after like 30 to 45 minutes .

We drove to Holland Village .

Passed by Breadtalk and brought a bread for Brother . Nacho Cheze - $1.40 .

Booked a place at Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao .

Called Mum and Dad .

Mum was at home , she said she would meet us half way at the bus stop .

Dad was outside , somewhere .

We went back to the car to wait for them .

Waited .

Called them again .

Mum just board the bus .

Dad took the train from Jurong to Redhill ... Was so mad at him .

Anyway , we were driving off to pick Mum up when Brother had a little accident .

He dropped me near the bus stop and I went to look for Mum .

Brought her there and Dad reached as well .

We started eating with Brother .

He went to change tyre .

So , we ate .

Went home ...

When I saw the on line application is open !!!!

Yeah !

So I reached home in the morning ....

Was sleeping when I heard a knock on the door .

Asked Brother to answer it . He don't believe me at first , but the person knocked again ...

I left it open so that He can see it as well ... hopefully .

Had dinner with Brother and Dad downstairs , Ee Mian and Hor Fun .

Brother tried to lure Dad home while I sneaked to my bike and rode to work .

I was early , and I saw this mini bike which I feel in love with it .

Tried it , loved it .

It felt very light as well .

So , Room 19 and 20 .

Room 20 is more or less a maximum ward management patient , not for further blood taking ... etc ... etc .

Room 19 .

Fever got higher and higher during the night ...

Blood ketone's high .

Everything was settled ...

Malek brought some fried rice and I ate it .

Yummy , there was the cheese cake as well .

Nice ...

Slept .

Until at 6am , 7am ...

Room 14's endotracheal tube came out , got to re- intubate .

Then Doctor Wan Tin wanted to start insulin , hourly blood sugar monitoring and this half strength saline with 20mmol potassium chloride hydration .

I did the blood sugar monitoring ,  gave insulin as per sliding scale ...

Sat came , and agreed to help me hook up the hydration .

Passed over to her .... She just asked me to sign the hydration and put up the schedule .

Passed over Room 20 to Rucan .

Nothing , really nothing for her .

Went home , rode home .

Surprised !

Dad had set up my jewellery mirror cabinet already . 

Fast !

Brother went out in the afternoon while I slept ...

Wanted to ride to work but it rained .

Doctor Justina was the on call .

Room 15 and Room 19 .

Room 19 was a patient on Bipap . Nothing much , his fever came down as well .

Room 15 , patient on propofol ....

Tonight , I slept ....

Passed both cases over to Tse Lert .

There was another new transferred from ward 78 in the late morning , 5am plus , 6am ... they never call up and just send the patient .

Tried to help out as much as possible ... Chilly's patient .

Dragged myself home to sleep .

Reached home and realized that my Rikakumma shorts and the pink slippers had arrived !

Happy !

Brother left home early in the morning and came back in the afternoon .

Met him downstairs .

Tried to kick start my bike but failed .

Tried to push start it as well .

So , in the end , I dove to the petrol station , while Brother said that he would push my bike there .

I reached there and could not find Brother . He told me that somebody was helping him .

Drove back and parked the car .

Brother said that they had pushed the bike to the servicing place .

Drove there , met him .

It would take some time .

Brother drove the car to a nearer car park .

We had a drink from 7-11 . But Brother was still thirsty , brought another bottle of drink .

Waited . I went to Lakeside MRT to withdraw money - $129 in total .

So , we rode home and had a very late lunch .

Brother went out with Mum while I slept .

Dad came home and woke me up .

Had laksa downstairs .

Dad sent me to the bus stop and waited for the bus .

First virgin night .

So , Room 14 and an empty bed .

Everything was settled .... Ruan Wen was the on call .

Had a long break with Huiying and Alli .

Went down to cheers to buy sandwiches and made my own milk tea . $3.10 , but $2.79 after discount .

Went back and shortly , there was a call for admission .

HD status but isolation , no bed available .

So , call and talked ....

Patient finally came at 6am .

What a bad timing .

So , tried to do as many thing as possible .

Passed over Room 14 to Jieying .

Room 16 new admission to Jason .

Some of the things not done , yet ...

Failed .

Anyway , I went home and slept ...

Only from 12.30pm to about 6pm .

Tired .

Took train to work .

Oh , I forgot that it's a Sunday . Mummy was at home ....

Brother went for tuition , thus , can't ride , again .

Nurses , only remember whens the off days . But never know when it's a weekend .

Nothing much .

Settled everything by my own .

Chua was in charge of CVVH patient as well - her first time .

So both of us were being thrown into the sea to learn how to swim .

We survived .

Took bloods , empty the bag , jab the potassium chloride and potassium phosphate into the dialysate and replacement bags ,  hook up bags ....

Yong B . was the in charge . She helped us .

Went for third break with her ....

Passed over to Rucuan .

Went over to pass central report , they were joking and kidding with me . Tomorrow my very first virgin night , and Roz said that there are ghosts .

Rucuan joked and asked me if everything was done , if I got do my work or not .

Yup !

Everything was done .

Happy .

Went to bath when I bumped into Chua inside the tea room , she was eating .

We chatted .

About CVVHD , about the new hospital - hotel coming up .

Brother fetched me .

I was on the phone with him and so Brother just drove us to Clement hawker centre .

Called him again after supper as I left my phone inside the car when we went out .

He waited for me and we chatted .

He had just went home from School when they called him for another meeting , thus he was going back to School again .

He was at the swimming pool talking to his Mum and agreed to call me an hour later ....

As again , I dragged myself to work .

We were supposed to go for in-service but were late - I went to the toilet , checked my phone and had a drink , thus I went up to Block 6 Level 9 with other station girls ....

There were missed calls .

Appointment made for NUH . But not for NHGP .

Hm ... a thought came to my mind .

Those off days I had when I sacrificed for the $18 per hour as a lab technician . 

Wore home clothes with a lab coat .

I went back to the ward and tried helping others .

Room 16 was an empty bed .

Room 15 was just waiting for time .

I passed over to Lu Han .

I don't know the external length of his right chest tube .

We went in to measure together .

Brother fetched me .

Mum prepared doughnut for me . But we were still hungry , so we had Wu Xiang before going home .

I brought a can of green tea as well , but Mum made Milo for us . 

Dragged myself to work .

Too lazy to ride , got to kick start , got to pump patrol .

Took train . Brother said that he would be going Orchard .

So , junior today .

Was supposed to key in the parameters into the Citrix .

Realized that the morning intake output for the nasogastric tube was not key in .

Informed the morning junior .

She was busy , it wasn't her who keyed in the system this morning .

So she called the person who helped her the key in .

Both of them , together with me , USED my account to check .

Confirmed that it was not done .

So she happily used my account to key in her intake and output - knowing full well that it was MY account . She can even verbalise and mention my name , she can see it from the system .

At first , I thought that she was just checking .

The she began keying in . The morning junior had left the do her things .

She even asked me how to create parameters ... etc .

Being a senior trained staff , it's really shame on you not to even know the basic junior stuffs .

Don't even know that you need to key in the intake output , don't even know how to create parameters .

It's even more embarrassing for you to use your junior - my account to anyhow key in .

Did not even bother to check the charts for the aspiration , pH level and external length .

Shame on you .

Are you TRAINED to have no integrity at all ?!

At least even if you key in the correct stuffs - still acceptable .

Busy busy .

The night junior found it and agreed to help me with it .

Brother came with Dad .

I left my staff card together with my letter inside the tea room . Somebody took it back to the ward .

Got it back .

Home .

Sat inside the car busy face booking .

Went home .

Tried calling him , again .

Phone was off .

Then it ran and nobody answered .

Finally managed to get him and he just gave some stupid excuses . He went down to get his EZ link from the car .

He could have called when charging his phone .

He could have seen my missed call .

Angry . 

We woke up , and went back to sleep again .

Until Brother woke me up .

We were late , Brother drove there .

13:20 - 15:00 hours - failed .

2 of them asked me to add as friend on Facebook .

So after that , we drove to Bukit Batok for our Witchery .

Brother dropped me at Chinese Garden and drove home while I went to Tanjong Pagar .

Read at Starbucks while waiting till 7pm for him . Green Tea Latte - $7.20 .

He came , we had Chicken Rice .

Took bus home .

And so , 1 off day gone .

In charge of Room 16 and Room 14 .

Room 16 , Mdm Toh KL . Nothing much . Managed to settle her . Serve her medications .

Was on duty with Kan SH and my preceptor - Wu JL .

They both joked with me .

So , passed over to Sat . Luckily she accepted my patient .

And while we were still hanging around waiting for 10pm , a call requesting for bed .

Lucky me .

Brother fetched .

We went to the back of NUS . Ameen Makan House .

Ordered some Kebab ....

But I was still hungry and wanted to eat .

So we ordered some Maggie in Chinese style , I think ....

Home we go .

And he was waiting for me .

Room 15 today , nothing much .

Called and contacted Mum , Brother , Him and Cousin .

Supposed to meet Cousin and Him at 4.30pm to go Uncle's house .

He ended School late . Waited for him at the car park behind Health Promotion Board .

Saw Pin Hong . Chatted with her a little .

He came and we went to Uncle's house .

Slacked a little at their house while Mum and Cousin went swimming .

So , had BBQ where they chatted .

Brother was heading to Bukit Batok , so he drove us there to the driving centre .

Went home .

Afternoon was very busy as well .

2 cases going down for scan . 1 resuscitation going on in Room 20 .

I tried to help as much as I can .

I got 2 patients - Room 17 and Room 18 .

Room 17 , Doctor Peh WM wanted to remove patients right CVP line and insert a vascular catheter for dialysis .

Everyone was so busy , there was nobody around . I popped in and out of my procedure room .

Once I went out , people started calling me .

Anyway , procedure finally ended and the whole bed sheet was dirty .

Aw and Roz came and helped me change while I went for my break .

I went down with Zu and ordered take away of duck rice .

Ate and went in . My tip for culture disappeared .

Transferred my Room 18 to Room 07 .

Passed over to the night staff ....

My Propofol  level was wrong .

The doctor supposed to order the bloods for me inside the system , I've already took it .

Got to discard it as it's all clotted . And I forgot that I can order the blood investigations .

Brother came and fetched me . He was at NUS .

We had McDonald's $2 Chicken nuggets .

Home ....

Zzzz .

So tired . But saw my assignment and I was happy .

Empty room .

So I helped to sponge ....

Went for break .

Assisted physiotherapist to do therapy for Room 16 .

Went down for Room 21's MRI with Lily , RT and Eileen .

Went back , he messaged me to help him print his form .

Printed . Then the call came for admission .

Went to the same bench to wait for him .

Mr LWS' Sisters gave me sandwiches .

Add on with my Milo .

He came , we had beef hor fun and spaghetti .

Went home . 

Shopped around at CK . Brought the cartoon cake and bubble tea home for Brother .

Was too lazy to ride to work , took train instead .

And 1 empty bed .

Nothing much , total was low as well .

Mummy did not cook dinner for me today . Went lunch with Tse Lert , Alli and Jane . Kopitiam - $3.70 . But discounted to $2.96 . 

We went up to Ward 47 after dinner , to accompany Jane .

Head down to Ward 44 after that . Had a little chat before going back to work .

Brother fetched me after work .

He ended work early and waited for me at home .

He visited the doctor .

Tired ....

Chatted with him a little .

Night .

I left home early and went to Orchard Towers .

1430 hours .

It was a small chat . It sounds promising . Hopefully I am able to get what I want - home clothes .

Funny , one of my criteria is home clothes . I hate uniforms !

It ended with a photo shot via an iPhone .

As it was still early , about an hour , I slacked around at Starbucks . I used his free voucher . Up size it and paid extra $1.60 . Just sat there , stoning , looking around .... relaxing . Thinking .

Soon , it was time to go . Headed to Novena .

1700 hours .

Filled up form , waited .

Talked . There were 2 people . They asked me to " tell them more about myself " .

Diving , Malay language , bike ....

So , 2 weeks .

I shopped around , waiting for his reply message . None .

I headed to Tanjong Pagar . Walked around , trying to find a herbal tea shop . I even walked all the way to Bestway .

None . Finally , I brought one .

Employment called . I was supposed to return call ........ Talked . Told her that it was not what I wanted ....

So she said she helped me decline , and try to help me look for others .

Sat outside the building , waiting for him . He did not answer his call .

Waited , waited waited ....

Face-booked while waiting .

Nothing ....

Finally , he called - just to ask me to go home .

I was so mad . I could have went to Toa Payoh and took direct bus home .

Cried .

Went to the nearby Pastamania to have my dinner , I was waiting for him . My last meal was before I went out . $11.90 .

Ate , and he came .

Finished my meal and we were the last one to leave .

He held onto my hand tightly , and insisted to take a cab home .

He held my hand , hugged me .

I told him about my day .

11pm , he did call .

I refused to answer and he called my home phone .

Woke up early in the morning at 8am and went to Mummy's Room to sleep .

We drove back home again . Rest . I took photos of my clothes to sell online .

So I went with Brother .

Had a long talk with Mr Singh .

But Alli told Jieling to put me junior as I was busy yesterday .

Then she said that I got to brush up , today let me rest . Next week must do things faster .... ????

So , Belle was on duty as well .

Helped her , helped as much as I can .

Doctor Lee GZ was on call , he offered to treat us Pastamania .

His Reg wanted to pay him the money but he declined .

So his Reg came and told us that there's ice creams inside the fridge .

Had break with Saw and Belle .

First break , cause they said that I have been going for third break for the past few days .

Went back and just sat down - totally forgot to take temperature !!!!

Anyway , received a call for new admission .

Helped prepare the room , prepare the things ......

Ended work late as E.Bay and I were inside Room 15 changing the ETT tape .

Waited for Brother and I saw Room 19's Sister .

Talked to her for a while and she cabbed home .

Brother came and we went to the hawker centre to have my Pastamania , his BBQ Sting Ray , Ice Cream and Ice Green Tea .

Went home late and he was waiting for me .

But he was tired and he slept ...

Too bad that I'm still 5 days straight afternoons , if not we can date tomorrow .

He tried dating me but too bad ......

He insisted on me saying the 5 words .

And he said it too , though with lots and lots of kisses to Double Pauline .

So , I forwarded my transcript to her .

Not feeling well , headache .

Took train to work .

Transferred Room 17 to Ward 68HD Room 01 Bed 03 .

Came back , went for break only at 8pm .

Was supposed to feed him 1.5 liters of water .

Got home , and he slept ....

Was about to turn in to the car park when Brother decided to go Jurong Point to get his mouse .

I open the car door and the cup of Witchery drop .

Brother and I drank from the plastic bag .

Went , and he finally decided on his Challenger mouse . $12.90 .

Was heading to the toilet to wash hands when I saw the Value Shop .

Got my shoes organiser !

Went home and had dinner .

Arranged my shoes and sweep my floor .

Received 2 calls , they wanted my photograph . Back to isolation ?

Went home , watch television , read my library book .

His Brother went out to settle his trip .

Sent me home while he sent his Brother to the airport . 

Guess my bike got my good mode today as well . I managed to kick start it . Top up my bike of $4.95 , but discount of $0.69 - total $4.26 .

Rode to the centre to help Brother top up his account $100 , brought Witchery . Thought of going back to take my stupid uniform home , but the sky does not look good .


Turned out that he did drove to School in the morning so that he can come and fetch me earlier .


Saw him searching up and down for his kitties . Went Jurong Point NTUC and brought steamboat foods . $36.15 . Went Starbucks and he brought his tumble - $19.90 .


Had steamboat with YA as well .


He had guard duty and had to leave earlier . So we talked about the future .

Was totally mad at him . We drove pass the petrol station and I was my car there , and he just complained - " now then say . "

So he dropped me off at BBDC bus stop instead .

Brother pump air , and then I dove to top up petrol . Dove home .

It was funny - I was riding along the exactly same route in the morning , now I'm driving back .  

Really cannot wake up , and with such a nice weather to sleep .

The girl had been transferred over to CTS .

3 patients . Sister offered to give leave .

Anyway , I got Room 15 . So yeah ...

Nursed her , sponge her and all .

Served her medications .

Took CE and ECG .

Passed over to Jasmine .

Realized that the duration of my antibiotic was wrong .

Went for Sister Tay's pressure ulcer in service .

It ended late .

Last day ! Really can't wait to get out of hell .

Waited for him at the McDonald's . Had McWings . Brought the Hello Kitty as well . Total of $9.60 .

Took bus , and he cooked for me and sent me home .
